Directions

From St. Louis:  take I-44 to the Cuba Exit (#208).  Take Hwy 19 South (left) thru Cuba & 8 miles to Steelville.  Turn right at school on Hwy 8 West (before crossing the railroad tracks and entering Steelville).  Follow Hwy 8 for 4½ miles (just past the lumber yard on the right), turn right at Adventure Outdoors/Fagan's sign & follow Thurman Lake Road 2 ½ miles to the river.

From Columbia & Jeff. City: take 63S to 68S, go thru St. James.  Stay straight on Hwy 8, do not turn on 68S (4 miles out of St. James) .  Go past Maramec Spring Trout Hatchery & past the Meramac River bridge.  Approximately 5 miles after the bridge you will drive under huge power lines.  Immediately after this you will see a Scott's Ford Access sign on right & Adventure Outdoors/Fagan's sign on left.  Turn left at our sign and follow Thurman Lake Road 2 ½ miles to the river.
