Maramec Spring

Make plans to see beautiful Maramec Spring Park, a real treasure!  The 6th largest natural spring in Missouri, remnants of a 19th Century ironworks, trout hatchery (have you ever seen a trout feeding frenzy?), nature trails for hiking and wildlife refuge.  It's great and it is less than 10 minutes from us by car or float past Maramec Spring Branch on our upper float.

Fabulous Fishing

We're getting a reputation for some of the state's finest fishing. The Meremac River in our area is rated the second best smallmouth fishery in Missouri by the Missouri Department Of Conservation & we are the closest major trout fishery to St. Louis. Why go north to fish for smallmouth or drive hours to Branson to fish for trout, when you can be at our place in an 1 ½ hours from St. Louis? We are the only outfitter located in the center of the trophy trout management area & the trophy smallmouth management area. Missouri Department Of Conservation regulations have improved the quality of fishing in these areas.  Four pound plus smallmouth are caught every year.  Even larger rainbow & brown trout are caught.  We're now offering professional fishing guides.  Many other species such as largemouth bass, pumpkinseed & goggle-eye are also available.  Floating & fishing the trophy trout area is a great way to relieve cabin fever in the winter months. The warm water from Meramac Springs keeps the fish active all winter.  We're open all year!
